देव (Deva) Extended PC version

Requirements: Windows 10 and a minimum screen size of 1024x768 pixels. This game is a full screen game. Esc key can be pressed at any time to close the application and return to Windows. You can also use Alt+Tab as usual to change the current active Window screen to another one.

Requerimientos: Windows 10 y una pantalla de resolución mínima de 1024x768 pixels. Funciona a pantalla completa y se puede salir del juego en cualquier momento pulsando la tecla Esc (escape) del teclado. También se puede usar Alt+Tab de la forma habitual en Windows para pasar a otra ventana de Windows que tengas abierta.

Story / Historia:

(en) You have been reborn as a Deva, an enlighted being that follows the path of Buddha. Shakra, the Lord of the Devas, sent you to Naraka, the eternal hell, to liberate Humanity, from the chains of suffering, anger and despair. Your reward will be the wisdom that will make you ascend a new step to Nirvana.    

(sp) Has renacido como un deva, un ser iluminado que sigue los pasos de Buda. Shakra, el señor de los devas, te he enviado a Naraka, el infierno eterno, para que rompas todas las cadenas del sufrimiento de la Humanidad. Tu recompensa será la sabiduría que te hará ascender un nuevo paso del camino al Nirvana.

The Game / El juego:

(en) Welcome to the world of Tibetan Buddhism mythology! Naraka's Hell has 10 levels. Each one of them has as many sublevels as the number of the current level. For instance, level 1 has only sublevel 1 (the easiest one), level 2 has sublevel 2 and sublevel 1... and finally level 10 has sublevel 10, sublevel 9, sublevel 8... sublevel 1. The demons of Naraka are constantly throwing devil chains to the Humanity, and you have to destroy them. There are four different types of chains, each one of them of a different color. You need to destroy at least one of each type to be able to finish the current sublevel or level. To finish the game, and reach Nirvana, you must finish all the 10 levels completely. Then something marvellous will happen.

To break the falling chains you need to use a unique combination of mudras (मुद्रा) that will be shown on the screen (down left) and you must follow correctly to destroy the closest chain. A mudra (मुद्रा) is a symbolic or ritual gesture able to accumulate or balance the energy of the body. Once you perform in the correct order the combo of mudras, the deva will clap the hands and a powerful stream of energy will be sent agains the chains, destroying the closest one.

You are not alone in your quest. Two Heavenly Kings (from left to right The West and North Kings) and are at your side trying to help you along Naraka. If you reach level 6, the Heavenly King of the West will give you an special combo that you can cast eight times. When you press fire+up, Palden Lhamo will be invoked and a death stream will destroy any existing chain.  In the other hand, if you reach level 8, the Heavenly King of the North will give you "The Eye of Buddha", an special combo that you can cast eight times. When you press fire+down, the Eye of Buddha will stop time and you can use this moment to destroy as much chains as possible, one by one.

The more you deepen into Naraka's Hell the faster new chains are created, the faster they fall down to you, and the longer the required mudra combos are. Your path to Nirvana is not going to be easy!

(sp) ¡Bienvenido/a al mundo de la mitología del budismo tibetano! El infierno de Naraka tiene 10 niveles. Cada uno de ellos a su vez tiene tantos subniveles como el número actual del nivel. Así por ejemplo, el nivel 1 (el más fácil de todos) sólo tiene el subnivel 1, el nivel 2 tiene subniveles 2 y 1, etc... y finalmente el nivel 10 tiene los subniveles 10, 9, 8 ... hasta el 1. Los demonios de Naraka están constantemente lanzando cadenas de sufrimiento a la Humanidad, y tú debes destruirlas. Hay cuatro tipos distintos de cadenas, cada una de un color distinto. Necesitas destruir como mínimo una de cada tipo para poder pasar al siguiente subnivel o nivel. Para acabar el juego, y alcanzar el Nirvana, debes acabar los 10 niveles completamente. Si lo haces, algo maravilloso sucederá. 

Para destruir las cadenas necesitas utilizar una combinación aleatoria de mudras (मुद्रा) que serán mostrados en la pantalla (abajo a la izquierda) y que debes realizar en el orden correcto para destruir la cadena mas cercana a ti. Un mudra (मुद्रा) es un gesto simbólico o ritual capaz de acumular o balancear la energía del cuerpo. Una vez que realizas la combinación de mudras en el orden correcto, el deva dará una gran palmada y un fuerte chorro de energía será lanzado contra las cadenas, destruyendo aquella más cercana a ti.

No estás solo en esta tarea. Dos reyes celestiales (de izquierda a derecha, el rey del oeste y el rey del norte) están a tu lado intentando ayudarte a traves de tu camino en Naraka. Si alcanzas el nivel 6, the rey celestial del oeste te dará un combo especial que puedes utilizar un máximo de ocho veces. Cuando pulses fuego+arriba, Palden Lhamo será invocada y un potente rayo de energía destructura acabará con todas las cadenas que existan en ese instante. Por otro lado, si alcanzas el nivel 8, el rey celestial del norte the dará "el ojo de Buda", un combo especial que puedes utilizar ocho veces también. Cuando pulses fuego+abajo, el ojo de Buda parará el tiempo y podrás usar ese instante para destruir tantas cadenas como te sea posible, una por una.

Cuanto más profundices en el infierno de Naraka más rápidamente aparecerán nuevas cadenas, que caerán tambien cada vez más rápido, y los combos de mudras necesarios para destruirlas serán las largos también. ¡Tu camino al Nirvana no va a resultar sencillo!

Lives / Vidas:

(en) You have initially three deva reincarnations (lives). When you reach levels 3,6 and 9 a new reincarnation is added, up to a maximum of 5 at the same time. They are represented by the little deva icons (down, right). Each time a chain reachs you at the bottom of the screen, you lose one reincarnation. If you lose all of them the game will finish.

(sp) Dispones de tres reencarnaciones iniciales (vidas). Cuando alcances los niveles 3,6, y 9 una nueva reencarnación será añadida. como máximo puedes tener 5 reencarnaciones (vidas). Son representadas por los iconos de devas (abajo a la derecha). Cada vez que una cadena toca al deva en la parte inferior de la pantalla, se pierde una reencarnación. Si pierdes todas, el juego finaliza.

Difficulty levels / Niveles de dificultad:

(en) There are three difficulty levels that can be set using the option 3 of the main menu: easy, hard and inferno.  The hard version will reduce the quantity of lives to the initial count of 3 for the whole game, the chains appear and fall faster, and the special combos are reduced to the quantity of 6 of each kind, instead of 8. The hell version has 4 special combos of each kind, the new chains appear and fall even faster, and if you click the wrong key of the current position of the mudra the punishment will be starting again the mudra from the very beginning. Go for it!

(sp) Hay tres niveles de dificultad, que se pueden alternar mediante la opción 3 del menu principal: fácil, difícil e infierno. La versión dificil solo permite tener las 3 vidas iniciales, las cadenas aparecen y bajan mas rápido y los combos especiales se ven reducidos de 8 de cada tipo a 6 de cada tipo. La versión infierno sólo te da 4 combos especiales de cada tipo, las cadenas aparecen aún más rápido, y si te equivocas al pulsar la posición del mudra actual, como castigo tendrás que empezar de nuevo toda la combinación actual del mudra. ¿Conseguirás llegar al Nirvana?

(sp) (1) Arriba a la izquierda: nivel actual del infierno; (2) Arriba a la derecha: sabiduría acumulada; (3) Abajo a la izquierda: combo de mudras que estas realizando ahora; (4) Abajo centro: si en el nivel y subnivel actual has destruido una cadena de un tipo concreto saldrá coloreada, cuando tengas las cuatro coloreadas (quiere decir que has destruido una de cada tipo en el subnivel actual) pasarás al siguiente subnivel/nivel que corresponda; (5) Abajo a la derecha: reencarnaciones que te quedan (vidas).

Controls (redefinable) / Controles (se pueden redefinir):

O: make a leftward mudra when the current position at the mudra combo is ◀ / hacer un mudra a la izquierda cuando la posición en el combo actual indica ◀.

P: make a rightward mudra when the current position at the mudra combo is ▶ / hacer un mudra a la derecha cuando la posición en el combo actual indica ▶.

Q: make a upward mudra when the current position at the mudra combo is ▲/ hacer un mudra superior cuando la posición en el combo actual indica ▲.

A: make a downward mudra when the current position at the mudra combo is ▼ / hacer un mudra inferior cuando la posición en el combo actual indica ▼.

SPACE / ESPACIO: clap when the current position at the mudra combo is ◎ / dar palmada cuando la posición en el combo actual indica ◎.

SPACE+Q / ESPACIO+Q: invoke Palden Lhamo's destructive ray (when available) / invocar el rayo destructor de Palden Lhamo (cuando esté disponible).

SPACE+A / ESPACIO+A: invoke The Eye of Buda's time-stopping power (when available) / invocar el poder de parar el tiempo de el ojo de Buda (cuando esté disponible).

T: the game is paused and a little menu will let you continue the game or return to the main menu (finishing the current game) / el juego se pausa y un pequeño menú te da la opción de continuar el juego o acabar el juego actual y volver al menú principal.

Escape (ESC): whenever you press the Escape key of your keyboard, the game will be immediately terminated (the application will finish as a normal Windows 10 application) / En cualquier momento puedes pulsar la tecla Esc (Escape) de tu teclado y el juego se cerrará inmediatamente (la aplicación se cierra como cualquier otra de Windows 10).

Be aware that the O,P,Q,A keys are used from level 2 ahead, the first level 1 is just a tutorial in which you just need to press space to clap, so O,P,Q,A are not used until level 2. In level 2 the combos at the left down side will show then combos of two actions, the first is a triangle pointing left, up, down or right, and the second will be a circle meaning to press space. So basically the game will not let you use the O,P,Q,A keys until level 2 because they are not required yet. / Las teclas O,P,QA sólo se empiezan a usar desde el nivel 2. El nivel 1 es un tutorial en el que sólo se usa el espacio para lanzar energía con palmadas, así que no os preocupéis que arriba, abajo, izquierda y derecha se usan desde el nivel 2.
