Story:
Amusement parks… who hasn’t been to one? Kids dive into the bumper cars or hop on the Ferris wheel with the same speed they tear into cotton candy, one mouthful after another. Fun places, yes, but also… sometimes dark and forgotten. In the shadows of these places, terrifying beings from other dimensions lie dormant, just waiting for some unsuspecting soul to wake them.
In a forgotten corner of Bernard Valley stands the abandoned amusement park, “Happy Hills,” a place long haunted by creepy tales. Rumor has it a sorceress ensnares anyone daring enough to enter at night, leaving behind a trail of unsolved mysteries. Many young people have vanished, and the legend lives on.
Just in this very amusement park, a young teenager named Peter Parrish faces his first Halloween challenge, after betting with his school friends to spend a night in the haunted park, eager to prove his courage in front of Penelope, his secret crush. This one night will transform our future anti-hero, as he ventures for the first time into a universe where beings from other dimensions will forever change his destiny.
This story will answer many of the still-unanswered questions Peter’s diehard fans are dying to know: Was he always this much of a goof? Has he always had that epic afro? Since when has he been watched by beings from other realms? An absolute must for anyone looking to tie up loose ends and dive deeper into the mysteries of the Parrishverse!
In Happy Hills, the park’s nooks and attractions hide secrets that will change Peter’s life forever. Are you ready to join Peter in this madness?

Todo gratis. Si te gustan y sientes que quieres y puedes hacer una donación al descagar, nos ayudarás enormemente a seguir haciendo juegos gratuitos. Historia:
Parques de atracciones... ¿quién no ha ido a uno? Los niños disfrutan de los coches de choque o se suben a la noria con la misma velocidad que se comen el algodón de azúcar uno tras otro. Lugares divertidos, sí, pero también... a veces oscuros y olvidados. En la penumbra de esos lugares, seres terroríficos de otras dimensiones duermen a la espera de algún incauto que les despierte.
En un rincón olvidado de Bernard Valley, se alza el parque de atracciones abandonado "Happy Hills", un sitio que ha sido siempre objeto de historias inquietantes. Se dice que una hechicera atrapa a cualquiera que ose entrar por la noche, dejando tras de sí un rastro de misterios sin resolver. Muchos jóvenes han desaparecido, y la leyenda sigue viva.
Justo en este parque abandonado un adolescente llamado Peter Parrish se enfrenta a su primer reto de Halloween, cuando hace una apuesta con sus amigos del colegio para pasar una noche en el parque encantado buscando demostrar su valentía ante Penélope, su amor platónico. Este hecho cambiará a nuestro futuro antihéroe, que se adentra por primera vez en un universo donde seres de otras dimensiones alterarán para siempre su destino.
Esta historia responderá a muchas de las preguntas todavía no contestadas sobre Peter que sus fan fatales desean saber: ¿fué siempre así de gañán? ¿tuvo siempre ese pelazo afro? ¿desde cuando era vigilado por seres de otras dimensiones? ¡Definitivamente, una historia que responderá a todas esas preguntas y atará muchos cabos sueltos entre las historias del Parrishverso!
En "Happy Hills", los recovecos y atracciones esconden secretos que cambiarán su vida para siempre. ¿Estás listo para acompañar a Peter en esta locura?

Great work! The graphics are excellent, the story unfolds as it should and the overall feeling is even better than your previous games. I probably would prefer a more spooky soundtrack, but that's just me. One thing though: is it possible to add a save game or password system so that the player can continue the game without having to go all the way again when he loses?
Hi, thank you very much for your kind words! Furillo IADVD here. About the music, yeah I understand your point :D I tried to make some loops with well known tunes and some of my own songs... and I think the mood is there more or less, but yeah it could be more spooky :D . The point about saving games... yes I was thinking about it... but I am not sure if I have enough memory to do so, probably if I add (i.e. our former game The Doom of the Pond has it) like 3 lives, it would be easy to play it. The Doom of the Pond solution was: you die, then the "bad end" screen appears, and, depending on the times you died lets you go back to the last moment you took an option, so you can avoid dying by selecting another one. This happens up to three times, and when you die again, you die definitely. I can put something like that... probably I will have to remove some phrases in order to free enough bytes to do so (I am using almost any -if not all the- available bytes for texts and logic). We are preparing a cassette tape of the game so I will try to add that feature to the master of the cassette tape and I will try to publish a new .tap later on (if possible due to the available space). Thank you very much for considering the 3 lives fix. Of course there's a workaround for the lack of the saving option, one can always play the game on an emulator and save snapshots of his progress, although it's a bit like cheating. Once again thank you for your great game and congratulations on the amazing artistic work!
